The Art of the Book
21st Editions wanted to showcase their art book, Flowers of Evil, in a motion piece that suggested the profound psychological aspects of its content. The book is an artisan masterpiece containing photographs by the contemporary Japanese photographer Eikoh Hose and poems by Charles Baudelaire.
I chose stark compositional elements to support the bold presentation and gravitas of the book, which explores the macabre aspects of human psychology and eroticism.
